- As of June 20, 2022, the city pays 100% of the employee medical insurance and one-half of dependent medical insurance.
- As of October 1, 2022, the city pays for 100% of the employee and dependent dental and vision plan coverage.
Retirement:

- Employees contribute 7% of their pay and the city matches with 12.76%.

Longevity Pay:
- After completing one (1) full fiscal year of service, employees receive $10/month of service served (Paid out each December).
Paid Holidays:
- New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth Observed, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Thanksgiving (Friday), Christmas Eve , Christmas Day, 1/2 day for New Year’s Eve, and a Floating Holiday for the employee’s birthday (after completing 1 full year of employment with the city).
Vacation:
- First year – 80 hours on anniversary date (Full time employees accrue vacation leave during their first year of employment but are ineligible to use it until after completing one full year of employment).
- 2-4 years of service – 308 hours each pay period.
- 5 – 9 years of service – 4.62 hours each pay period
- 10 or more years of service – 6.15 hours each pay period
- Maximum accrual an employee may have at one time is thirty (30) days.
Sick Leave:
- Full time employees – 8 hours for each month of continuous service (no service time restriction to use)
- Maximum accrual an employee may have at one time is thirty (30) days.
