The Administration & Records Division operates under the Office of the Chief of Police, with day-to-day management delegated to Department Administrative Assistant John Bell.

John brings extensive service and leadership experience to Teague PD. He served in the United States Navy for 22+ years, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 3. He also served in the Texas State Guard, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 5, with 30+ combined years of federal and state service.
John’s background spans administration and management at the Federal, State, and local levels. He is a graduate of Excelsior College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management and a Minor in History.

What We Do

The Administration & Records Division supports patrol, investigations, the public, and criminal justice agencies through records management, public information processing, reporting, data entry, and administrative support.

We manage and coordinate police records in accordance with state retention guidelines, expunctions, and court-ordered sealings.
