Current Opening: Reserve Police Officers

The Teague Police Department is currently accepting applications for Reserve Police Officers. Reserve positions are volunteer roles and do not include employee benefits, except for applicable coverage provided by the City for duty-related injuries or authorized service activities.

The Teague Police Department is currently fully staffed in all paid positions; however, we are actively seeking Reserve Police Officers to join our team. This volunteer role is an excellent opportunity for motivated, community‑minded individuals to gain meaningful law‑enforcement experience while serving alongside our full‑time officers.

Reserve Officer Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or training is a plus)
  • Strong moral character and dedication to ethical service
  • Completion of accredited Law Enforcement Academy
  • Ability to meet TCOLE standards for licensing
  • Willingness to serve in a volunteer capacity
