Requirements

Entry‑Level (Cadets):

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education/training is a plus).
  • A passion for serving the community and upholding the highest ethical standards.
  • Age: Must be at least 20 years old and 21 before academy graduation.

Experienced Officers:

  • Texas Peace Officer certification (TCOLE).
  • Proven law enforcement experience and strong leadership skills.
  • A commitment to making a positive impact in Teague.
