Examples of helpful tips:
Suspicious activity, narcotics complaints, theft or burglary information, vandalism, threats, illegal dumping, wanted person sightings, or location of stolen property.
What to include (the more specific, the better):
- Location (address or nearest intersection)
- Date & time (when it happened / happens)
- What you saw (who, what, how, why—if known)
- People/vehicles involved (descriptions, license plates, distinguishing features)
- Photos/video (optional, if safe to obtain, and the assigned investigator may ask for them)
- Your contact info (optional; helps us follow up)
Anonymity & Privacy:
You may submit tips without your name. If you choose to provide contact info, we will protect your identity to the extent allowed by law.
What happens next:
Your tip is reviewed, documented, and forwarded to the appropriate patrol or investigations personnel. We may conduct follow‑up as needed and coordinate with other agencies when appropriate.
