Sex Offender Registration Program

Texas law (Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62) requires certain adult and juvenile offenders to register with the local law enforcement agency where they live. If you live inside Teague city limits, you register with Teague PD; if you live outside a city, you register with your county.

Who Must Register

Persons with a reportable conviction/adjudication for specific offenses must:

  • Appear in person to register and verify information
  • Report changes (address, employment, school, phone) promptly
  • Maintain valid ID/DL (renew annually as required)

Failure to comply with registration requirements may result in felony prosecution.
